Reproduction Mid-Victorian Cloak/Coat front

Lined cloak with capelet used as a Victorian coat at Dickens Fair, ice skating and other Victorian wintry events.

Pattern: Butterick B5266. Pattern goes together well and has a nice look. Has modern shoulder seams instead of dropped shoulder seams, but that historical inaccuracy is hidden under capelet.
Changes made to pattern included adding a second set of buttons to balance out the front. Tacking each button loop at the triangle so buttons don't slide to the end. Bag lining the body and turning inside out through the pocket slit. Made lining slit after turned inside out by marking through the top fabric slit. Understitched most edges.
