dress
front back side 1957 halter dress is a fun dress for swing dancing especially with a couple of slips underneath to give the skirt more volume. Offwhite cotton print with beige, brown and baby turquoise blue asymmetrical dots and circles, collar, full circle skirt, lined bodice, zipper back with hooks and eyes. Self fabric belt with shell sliding buckle.

Pattern: Butterick B4512 View B. Bust size printed on pattern is not the finished measurement; finished bodice is about 4" larger than bust measurement printed on bodice pattern. Instructions do not specifically say to clip curves on the collar and the curved edges of the bodice. Step 33 incorrectly says "Pin skirt to lining"; this step should be to pin skirt to bodice. I did not use pronged buckle and grommets as in pattern.
